Groups

Mid-Northumberland U3A has over thirty activity groups, and new ones are always being considered. So whether your interest is in the arts or sciences, high-blown theory or down-to-earth practicality, languages or gastronomy, there will be something for you.

Or you might be thinking of developing in an area new to you. If so, here is the ideal opportunity. Each group has a co-ordinator, and the groups are autonomous - they decide what they are for and what they do. And though some groups may be demanding, they are also there to entertain and inform. You do this for pleasure! Look at the groups available and see what takes your eye, then contact the co-ordinator to let them know you are interested. There's a contact page with all the information you need.

When you join a group, please don't feel as though you are committed from the off. You are perfectly free to change your mind, and nobody will think the worse of you.
