Please note: we have an event in the planning stage.
We are planning a picnic style Christmas, with everyone bringing a plate of their speciality. Date / etc to be arranged.
Booked: November 5th, We have Southern Watercoming to give us a talk on water and the role Southern Water play. This is being held at Hodsell Street Village Hall, 10.30-12.30.
There will be a charge for this. Depending on the number of people the hire cost of the hall will be shared out.
September we had an excellent trip to Hastings, the weather was bright but breezy. We all managed to buy some fresh fish from the fishermen, and then went to Maggy's for fish and chips. !
October saw us visiting Brogdale Farm. Some of us went on the tour of the orchards, but we all said we should come back when the blossom was out. We then went onto McNades where looked at all their products, followed by lunch in their Cafe.
If anyone is interested in joining either of events please let Kay Cumming know.
However, plans are fluid & subject to change, so you can read about some of the things we have actually done via the links on the (R) of this page, & are very welcome to join us & contribute your own ideas.
We have room for more members, so if you fancy joining let me know. Kay
