Canasta

The Canasta group contact for 2018-19 is Jackie Thompson. To email her for info etc., please click the bluebird symbol (right).

The group started to play in March 2016 with a handful of people meeting in a member's house. We grew rapidly & moved to bigger premises at our current hall in Culverstone which fits our needs well.

Canasta is a very intriguing card game of four players; once you start out won't want to stop. By attempting to beat your opponent you will find that your little grey cells are given a great workout. We are a very friendly group of people who enjoy learning about and playing the game of canasta & may also arrange social outings during the year.

We meet every Monday afternoon from 14.00 - 16.30 at Culverstone Community Hall, Whitepost Lane, Culverstone Green, DA13 OTN
