Walking

The Walking group contact for 2018-19 is Suzi Taylor. Please click the bluebird symbol to contact her for information.

The walking group currently has around 30 members. The walks take place on the third Friday morning of the month. Most of our walks are in the countryside but we have had one very successful London walk - and more are planned. Walks vary in length, most are between 4-6 miles but we have had the occasional longer walk. Most walks start and finish near a pub or café so members can enjoy refreshments together after the walk.

The success of the group depends on members being prepared to lead occasional walks. The more people who are prepared to lead walks the more active the group will be. If you have an idea for a walk or are thinking about leading one please get in touch. We are only too willing to help and can give some suggestions on routes etc.

Full details of the walks etc. are emailed to walking group members by the group coordinator.
