This popular group typically start from a convenient parking spot and we make a leisurely walk of around 90 minutes or 3 - 4 miles. This group aims to avoid stiles, tricky terrain and weather such as snow so one of us will have tried the walk beforehand. Sometimes we'll start at a pub and end there for a drink or meal (optional). You'll visit a good variety of local places over the year - and we're open to suggestions for places to go. Just sometimes, when the weather is troublesome a walk is cancelled and an email is sent - or you can call us to check.
Members will receive a monthly email advertising the next walk. Our Melbourn & district U3A newsletter will also include the timing and details of our monthly walk.
