Since the onset of the pandemic, we have become a Zoom group meeting on Wednesday afternoons at 2pm during term time, except when Melbourn U3A puts on a general speakers meeting.
Outside term time we have the occasional face to face social meeting.
Each week, we discuss informally the news on the BBC Science and Technology pages. In this way, we can keep up to date with emerging science and how it might impact our lives and those of future generations. Our emphasis is sharing knowledge and insights often with a considerable dose of humour!
You don't have to be an expert, or qualified, on anything we might discuss. We welcome anyone with a sense of curiosity. Asking some simple questions is often fruitful and useful for all of us.
