Music Players Group
We meet on the 2nd Monday of the month and on the Wednesday of the second week after that.
Our group has been meeting for 5 years and now on a fortnightly basis. Our instruments currently include recorders, guitars and a bodhran! We enjoy playing a variety of music including folk, dance, classic and anything else which takes our fancy.
Each of us brings along music that they would like to play and we spend a fun couple of hours working on the pieces, seeing how the instruments work together while we improve our performance. We learn a lot from each other.
New members are very welcome. The ability to read music is not essential but being able to play an instrument is.
