Please don't feel that Welsh Studies is all about learning vocabulary! We don't try to learn the language so much as try to study it in all its intricacies (and, oh! It is intricate! What's more, northern Welsh is different from southern Welsh.....) and we spend half each session telling each other something about Wales.
We cover people places (and their names), recipes, religious revivals, buildings and the relationship between national costume and the search for a Celtic identity. We also sing songs and eaten Welsh food. Anything Welsh goes in this part of the session so, if you have something you would like to share, please feel you can come and share it as a welcome guest.
