Group OrganiserTerry Chipperfield
VenueSt Mary Magdalene Church Gillingham
Meeting Days1st and 3rd Thursday of each month (pm)
Group Vacancies? Yes

The Singing for Pleasure (aka Acorn Singers) group continues to meet on the first and third Thursday of the month, 2:00 p.m. at St Mary Magdalene Church on Gillingham Green - ME7 1SS in the Lady Chapel - door to the right of the green noticeboard on the south-facing, long side of the Church.
We have around 12 - 15 members who turn up for most meetings, where we try to learn, practice and occasionally perform music from the Musicals, folk songs and some from the 40s to the 70s.
We sing at the Abbeyfield sheltered housing in Wigmore, in summer and towards Christmas. They enjoy our company, and we enjoy talking to them afterwards over tea and biscuits.
We ask for a donation of £2/person/meeting to cover cost of the room, printing and refreshments - Brenda bakes a very good cake!

Contact Terry Chipperfield to find out how to join this group or for more information.
