Ukulele - The Plonkers

We are a large and active group who rehearse regularly and undertake concerts across the year.

We meet in the Scout Headquarters in Walderslade. Our meetings are happy social occasions where we learn together, laugh together and sometimes make very good music together. There is always a drink and some cake to eat half way through each meeting - playing the ukulele can make you hungry.

We have a dedicated 'new players' slot so we can help those who are new to the ukulele, with the basic chords and playing techniques, separately from the main group before we all gather together each meeting.

We would welcome new members, even those who are complete novices.
