This Group started as a result of Lockdown 2 in November 2020. A frivolous post on our social Facebook Group asking if anyone would join a quiz on Zoom if we organised it received a good response. So we gave it a go and it worked! After two quizzes, we split the Group into two to enable more people to take part, and we've been running them on alternate Tuesday and Thursday Evenings ever since. Recent events mean we have to move the Thursday Quiz to Wednesday so we'll be looking to see how it goes..
The Quizzes run from 7pm until 9:15pm. The format is three rounds of spoken questions, followed by an 'interval' round of typically picture questions. This is repeated once, so that gives you a bit of time to stretch your legs, make a pot of tea or, more typically, to recharge your glass! There is then another three rounds of spoken questions.
Obviously you mark your own homework! Singles and couples participate equally, although it is necessary to mute the couples during the questions. We generally share our scores each round using Zoom's 'Chat' facility, but that it not a requirement, this is just for fun.

We are a friendly, inclusive bunch who treat the quizzes as an online social event. There's plenty of banter and good humour, so if Mastermind is your thing, this may not be for you.
