Badminton Group
Badminton Group details:
We are an energetic and friendly group who meet to play simply for enjoyment, so we are not part of any league. We believe it helps us to tune up our reflexes and maintain general fitness levels, as well as being great fun. Everyone is welcome to come along for a taster session, but you will need to be a member of U3A if you wish to join us.
Where? We meet at Brinnington Leisure Centre, Northumberland Rd, Brinnington, Stockport SK5 8LS.
When? Every Thursday afternoon, promptly at 2pm for approx one and a half hours.
Cost? £1 per session – the group leader holds a leisure key card and this keeps costs down.
Equipment needed: a racquet, appropriate clothing and suitable trainers –shuttles are provided.
