Our group meets on the fourth THURSDAY of each month from 10.00 a.m. to 12 noon at Mawdesley Village Hall. £2 per session.
We are an informal, friendly self-help group with an interest in tracing our ancestors and researching the local and general history which influenced their lives.
At meetings we share what we find out, visit places of interest, and occasionally invite outside speakers.
Many of our members have a good understanding of how to carry out research and are more than happy to help other members.
Some people come along because they are keen to learn and share and others because they simply enjoy a morning out.
There is no pressure to contribute, we would simply value your company if you choose to join us.
