Wood Carving

Contact BARRY 01704 231510

Until the pandemic is over Croston Old School can only permit 12 people in the hall and our current number is 12 so the Woodcarving group cannot currently take any new members. It is hoped to hold the first session on September 10th.

In September if you are interested in joining the group contact Barry (details on their web page) and he will put you on a waiting list for when new members are able to join the Group.

We meet on the second and fourth THURSDAY of each month from 9.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon at Croston Old School, Croston.

We are a small group of dedicated amateur wood-carvers. Each carver has worked out what they would like to carve and with some encouragement of other members of the group, they have produced various different carvings. it is mostly work carried out by their own initiative but if help is required either to input of content or carving techniques then the rest of the group are there to offer their experience. We are a friendly group and
encourage others to join us (extra members can always made welcome). If you feel you would like to have a go why not drop in at one of our meetings and see what’s going on. Our group leader Barry Milne or any member of the group will make you welcome.
