Marlow & District

Welcome to the website of Marlow & District U3A. We are a charity (No.1165105) registered with the Charity Commission. Our objective is the advancement of education and, in particular, the education of older people and those who are retired from full time work, including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development in Marlow and district.

It was formed in 2006 and now has over 800 members and over 70 groups. We provide a wide range of activities (see our Groups page), educational, recreational and social, for retired and semi-retired people. All our activities are led by unpaid volunteers who encourage our members to participate.

Our main monthly meeting is held in Liston Hall, Chapel Street, Marlow, at 2.30pm on the fourth Thursday of each month when we have a speaker, followed by tea and biscuits (see Events page).

Theatre visits are organised together with outings to various places of interest, all of which are listed on the Events page.

In addition to our many groups, membership gives the additional benefit of access to National Summer Schools and Workshops, and Thames Valley U3A events.

The Membership page gives information on how to join us.
