British History

Members of the group are encouraged to research an area within the overarching themes, either individually or with a friend and then share their findings with the group. This is not compulsory, but we are a friendly encouraging group and welcome new members.

The group is currently looking at the Roman occupation of Britain from 43AD to c 410AD ('Or What did the Romans ever do for us')

Third Tuesday of the month
Start at 10.30am
The Beacon Community Centre, Market Drayton.

There is a small charge per head to pay for the rental of the room and refreshments (£3.00 for three months).
