Photography
We are a very friendly group who meet regularly on the first Thursday of each month.
Our members have a varied knowledge of photography and we learn from each other. Our main aim is to improve on our own personal knowledge and pass on our knowledge to other members of the group.
Each indoor learning session is based on a subject which we can put into practice at our next outdoor meeting. We learn about Depth of Field, using the manual mode of our camera, taking moving objects and taking photos at night. We also learn about basic photography and how to create the better picture, how to edit photos using various software, safe storage of your photos and watch DVD's and “You Tube” video, learning skills from the experts.
A social meeting is held in January, where we plan our forthcoming years programme. We normally hold six study meetings indoors and six practical meetings at an outdoor location.
New members can join at any time but we prefer your taster to be at one of our indoor sessions.
