GROUP MEETINGS RESUME ... at last

Mansfield u3a Group Meetings are gradually beginning to resume as Government regulations are dropped.
However, Group Leaders should still follow the latest Government Guidelines and adhere to current safety guidance. Be careful, but don't be afraid!

Some Groups have changed Leaders or are no longer operating, so members should check the relevant web pages, the Newsletter or our Facebook page for details of Group Leaders and current meetings.

Current Affairs Group

After many years, Norma Shillinglaw retired as Group Leader and the group closed down.
Now, our Vice-Chair, Graham Headworth, has revived it and we thank him heartily.

The Current Affairs Group will start on Friday 4 March this year between 10.0am and 12.0pm and thereafter on the first Friday of the month. The venue is Mansfield Bowling Club.

The Newsletter

edited by Bill Harrison, is sent to members who have email addresses and is published on this website. But some hard copies will be printed and available each month, even if shorter and less 'newsy'.

Sherwood u3a have announced two new holidays and invite you to join them. One is to the Isle of Wight in July 2022. THis is now open for bookings
The other is to Llandudno - they will supply all the details and prices when their own members have had 'first dibs'.

Jacqui Hampshire who runs our Mini Breaks says 'If you want to go to Thursford next Christmas, you'll have to hurry'. Check the rooms available with her on the Mini Breaks page

Don't get rid of your Zoom programme just yet - we may well have to use it again. Also, Philip Tucker, our Speaker Finder, was able to 'source' speakers from all over the country and so widen the range of subjects, without having to pay travel expenses. Might be a good idea for future meetings if we can sort out the IT.

If you want to take part in any future Zoom meetings, download Zoom from your apps store and then follow any emails sent to you by the organisers.
Help can be given to those who need it. Just contact the Web Administrator or Editor via the Contacts page and ask for help._
