Mansfield U3A's Coffee Morning this year is on Friday, 24 May, from 10 am to 12 noon at St Philip Neri's Church Hall on Chesterfield Road.
Parking is available in Tesco's car park - free for two hours and the side gate will be open to save your legs - the gate is next to the petrol station. A few disabled spaces are available in the church car park.
Tea or coffee and biscuits are included in the ticket price of just £2.00 and fresh cream scones will also be on sale. Any tickets bought before the day will qualify for for free entry in a prize draw.
As usual, there will a great raffle, Tombola for the serious gamblers (contributions to either will be very welcome), a cake stall, thanks to the Pudding Club! Plus Sheila's savoury pies, a plant stall thanks to the Garden Group (cuttings, seedlings or full grown trees very welcome).
Chairman Jacqui is planning a return of the dress rail so all donations of clean clothes, shoes, etc will be gratefully received - any not sold will be given to charity.

As required by the Charities Commission, a Safeguarding Policy has been developed for Mansfield U3A. The policy statement is available on a link from the Membership page.
The Safeguarding Officer is Committee Member Lynne Payne.
Change to the Constitution
An EGM was held on Tuesday 15 May 2018 at which was passed unanimously the motion changing the previous Objects Clauses to the Objects Clause suggested by the Third Age Trust.

Changes to Groups Finances
Some Interest Groups will have to change the way of recording their finances. These changes are set out in Group Finances 2018, a Link on the Groups Page.
Data Protection and Privacy
