Writing for Pleasure
Writing for Pleasure.
Mansfield U3A members enjoy writing for the pleasure of it – simply that. Get your ideas and words flowing and share them with others in an entertaining and happy two-hour session.
We write on a variety of subjects including found poetry, free verse, many different story titles and even the odd Limerick.
We meet on the second Monday of each month from 2-4pm at the Stanhope Centre, which is behind Bridge Street Methodist Church.
The next meeting will be held on Monday GROUP CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Mike Allen would love to receive any items you wish to put in the newsletter. Email would be the best way. Thanks.
All April homework was excellent, so thank you for sending.
As usual such a variety of stories.
HOMEWORK TO SEND IN MAY UNLESS WE MEET - Write an Historical Murder Mystery in approx 300 - 400 words
Looking forward to seeing you all as soon as we are able.
Instead of meeting as usual, maybe members would like to email their homework to everyone. If you prefer you can send to either Hilary or Sue or both and we will circulate. This would keep us in touch with each other as it could be quite a while before the next meeting. If you prefer not to, we will see you when things start up again.
Keep well and safe.
