Maidstone Invicta

Welcome to Maidstone Invicta U3A

Registered Charity No. 1164781

Maidstone Invicta U3A is now beginning to "open up". Our first "live" monthly meeting will be on the 16th August at Beechwood Hall and a number of groups have restarted. So why not join us? Full details on the Membership page.

Welcome to Maidstone Invicta U3A. Since our Inaugural Meeting in February 2013, we have now welcomed over 300 members and formed 48 interest groups. We have much appreciated the support from our members and without so many of you coming forward to help at the monthly meetings and hosting/facilitating interest groups we wouldn’t be where we are today.

U3As are self-help, self-managed lifelong learning co-operatives for older people no longer in full time work, providing opportunities for their members to share learning experiences in a wide range of interest groups and to pursue learning, not for qualifications, but for fun. Follow the link to U3A and You for details of the principles and frequently asked questions

We welcome everyone from Maidstone and surrounding villages in Kent. If you would like further information or an application to join please follow the link to our Membership page. If have a question about Maidstone Invicta U3A why not arrange to come along to one of our Monthly meetings or please send an email using our Contact page.

We meet at 2pm on the third Monday of each Month at Beechwood Community Hall, Marigold Way Barming. ME16 0NG. For information of how to get there and more details of the hall, please follow the link to Beechwood Community Hall.

You can attend our monthly meetings twice before becoming a member but will not be able to join any of the interest groups until joining MIU3A.
