What: Members take turn to organise a visit to a village, or small town in Kent, to discover the history of the place, usually starting at the local church, where we are often given a talk by the vicar or a church warden or a local historian. We then have a leisurely walk around the village, looking at the buildings, followed by lunch together in a local pub.
Where: The Group meet at a pre arranged location in the chosen village.
When: Visit take place on the 1st Thursday of the month usually at 10 or 10.30am
No special equipment or skills required, except maybe comfortable walking shoes!
