Film Clubs

FILM CLUB
What: Open to all Maidstone U3A, but the most important aspect is that the films shown must be chosen by a member. If you are interested in seeing a particular film which would appeal to a wider audience, please submit the title with a few words saying why you think it should be shown. It can be any film, perhaps one that you have not seen for a while. We will try to get hold of it if you don’t have a copy.

Where: Maidstone Community Support Centre, Marsham Street.

When: First Thursday of the month at 1.00 p.m. from September to May. Tea/Coffee will be available if we take a short break during the film.

How to Join: All Maidstone U3A members welcome to this group. The cost will be £3.00 to cover room hire (this may have to change each month depending on the number of attendees). To book a place or suggest a film send an email to Stephen the Film Club contact using the blue pigeon ‘send a message button’ at the top of this page.

MUSICAL FILM & THEATRE
What: This U3A group is intended to appreciate the world of musical theatre. We will screen some wonderful Braodway Musicals and Concerts. I will give a short talk at the beginning of each screening. I hope you will join me in this wonderful world of music.

Where: Maidstone Community Support Centre, Marsham Street

How to Join: If you wish to join this group please email the Musical Theatre contact using the blue pigeon send a message button on the top of this page.
