COVID-19
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a serious impact on our social activities this year, but they have not ceased. Your committee continues to meet regularly to review our activities. There are still a few Maidstone group activities currently accessible to members.

Monthly meetings
Our usual meeting place, The Salvation Army Hall remains closed.

Group activities
Inevitably these have been heavily curtailed, particularly those involving close personal contact although some are now meeting in gardens and other open spaces and some are operating using email or Zoom, for instance:
Art;
Art Appreciation;
Book groups;
Gardening;
Language Groups;
Music practise groups;
Outdoor activities, for example bird watching and walking are now also restricted.

Marsham Street is now closed again until December.

All group leaders are required to undertake a risk assessment for their group before they can be restarted.

Coronavirus Newsletter
Members contribute to a weekly newsletter edited and distributed by our Chairman.

AGM
Our AGM took place at Marsham Street on the 21st September.
