History

What: Subjects are various and cover a wide range of subjects of national and international or local concern. They are usually presented by members.

Where: Marsham Street (except quiz)

When: Second Monday on alternate months from 2:00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.

How to Join: For more details send an email message to the History Group Leader using the blue pigeon Send a Message button on the top right hand side of this page. This is an Open Group and new members are welcome. There is a small charge of £2.50 to cover the cost of the hall and refreshments.

2019 PROGRAMME

The next meeting of the History Group will be held on Monday 11th February at the Community Support Centre, Marsham Street at 2.30 pm.
This is the first of our newly expanded series of meetings which we hope will be well supported. All are welcome as this is an open group.

Subjects for this meeting: The Last Tudor. Olive Lindsay. 20-25 minutes

Leeds Castle. Gill Purbrick 20-25 minutes

Douglas Haig Tony Rea 20-25 minutes

Tea/coffee will be served as usual. We look forward to seeing you and please note the later time (2.30) of the start.

Anyway all are welcome at 2.00pm at the Marsham Street Community Centre.
