1st & 3rd Mondays, at St Thomas's Church Hall, Henbury, Macclesfield.
Leader: Fay Bowling
Instructor: Michael Bradley
Country Dancing, 1.30pm – 3.30pm. Two hours of Country Dancing with a well deserved break for tea and biscuits. Michael, our instructor, gives us a varied range of dances from stately Regency dances to lively country dances. Great fun and good exercise.
Wear comfortable shoes and “layers” - you can get quite warm dancing!
If you would like to join us it is very informal and great fun.
Demonstrations by other dance groups of some of the dances that are within our repertoire (via YouTube). More than one version is shown to highlight the fact there is often no absolute "correct" version of the dance:
- 192 Miles To Home
- Blaydon Races
- Dashing White Sergeant
- Hull\'s Victory
- Hull\'s Victory - Version 2
