Practical Gardening

Our emphasis is PRACTICAL gardening. Sometimes when we meet we will need to wear gardening shoes and may get our hands dirty. By sharing our expertise we hope to learn together and from each other.

Each month we plan to visit the garden of a member of the group; this will allow us to share our knowledge, expertise and experience – as well as seeds and cuttings from the plants we have grown. Members interest are mainly flowers and bushes although some also grow fruit and vegetables.

A provisional list of visits for 2020 has been agreed.

From March to November we will meet on the 4th Friday of the month between 2.00pm and 4.00pm visiting one or occasionally two gardens each week.

Membership is restricted to a maximum of 15.
