Board Games

The Board Games Group started in March 2019 and has gone well with around 7/8 regular players. Although it’s called Board Games we do in fact play all kinds of games, Scrabble being the main one. Some of us have enjoyed learning new games such as Cribbage, Yahtzee, Rummikub, Chinese Checkers and Dominoes/Triominos in fact any game members care to bring along.

Now that we are back up and running after Covid we now have a change of venue. Due to the group now getting larger it has been decided that it would be better to hold our meetings in a venue that could comfortably accommodate us as oppose to members homes. So as of the 14th Feb, our next meeting, it is being held at the Mailman's Arms which is down at the bottom of the High Street next to the Meridian Ferrari Garage. The Mailman's has very kindly allowed us to hold our meetings there provided we each buy a drink, either a tea or coffee... something stronger if you feel the need!!! We will continue to meet on the second Monday of the month at 2pm at the Mailman's Arms.
