Lyndhurst & District

Bridge 1

We formed a Bridge Group consisting of members who want to play in an informal, non-competitive, learning environment in which we will have the freedom to discuss the play and bidding after each hand is played (if we wish). Anyone who understands the basics of Bridge is welcome to join us; the aim is to enable all to progress without the competitive pressures found in a formal Bridge Club.

We play at 2 pm on the first and third Monday of each month. We used to meet in the Community Centre but their prices have increased to make it impractical for our numbers (usually about two tables). We are now playing in the back room of The Mailman's Arms in Lyndhurst High Street. For a programme of meeting dates click the link on the right.

To make sure that the group remains a comfortable place for those who are less confident in their Bridge we have agreed a "charter" to govern our play - click on the other button on the right to view this.

Audrey Lamb is leading the group. Contact her via the envelope symbol on the right if you would like to know more, or just come along to one of our sessions.
