Groups

We have a selection of groups, art and crafts, musical, study topics, books, lunch, language, walking, cycling, selection of ad hoc special and social events

We opened in 2017 and continue to develop the range of activities and welcome proposals for new groups

Our Group Co-ordinators have the role of helping develop our groups by supporting their leaders & helpers

If you are interested in starting a new group, or wish to offer help with existing groups, please contact our Group Co-ordinators or use the link to the right of this page

We can discuss the role of a Group Leader and provide information on the process of setting up a group, details of potential venues where the group can meet and money matters involved in the running an Interest Group

If you would like to join our u3a, and wish to find out more, you can attend two Members' Meetings and, subject to space, sample a couple of Interest Group meetings before joining Lymm & Thelwall u3a
