Table tennis is a game with rewards, which we play for fun in a friendly atmosphere. When played regularly it helps improve mental health, fitness, balance and coordination.
We play at the Lymington Centre, where there are three tables available; and there is room for all, both beginners and more experienced players.
If you have never played before or played years ago with children across a dining room table or play regularly you can join in and gain the benefits.
We play singles and doubles. Members rotate so that we all play with or against each other. The more members that turn up the better. There is always time between games to be sociable and have a chat!
It is hoped that an occasional ‘match’ against other U3As or groups can be arranged throughout the year.
Bats are available for those who would like to try an introductory session.
A small charge is made towards the cost of room hire which is payable at the beginning of each term.
