National u3a
u3a is not just a local Lymington organisation. There are local u3as throughout the country, all operating in a similar way.
Joining Lymington u3a gives you an opportunity to make the most of life, develop your interests, make new friends and enjoy yourself. Here in Lymington and the surrounding area we have a wide range of groups and activities for you to join – and, if you can’t find one to suit, you can always set up a new group yourself.
But there is also a wider u3a community, led by our national umbrella organisation, the Third Age Trust. This offers a variety of activities and events that, as a member of a local u3a, you can take part in:
• The National Learning Programme offers a variety of ways for member to participate in fun and instructive activities, including competitions, quizzes and podcasts.
• The National Online Events Programme offers a range of free and paid-for talks and other events that are open to all u3a members.
• There are also Zoom Tutorials for members and group leaders.
Not bad for an annual membership fee of £20.
