Our sincere thoughts and sympathy goes out to the family of our Chairman David Wilson who passed away today 3rd March 2024. He will be sadly missed. Please give his family some privacy at this difficult time.

'Learn, Laugh, Live'

Begun in 1996, u3aLuton now has 600 members. There are 64 groups covering over 50 topics. The groups meet either weekly, fortnightly or monthly, often in members' homes but also in venues such as local community centres.

Each month there is a meeting which is open to all members. Details of these meetings are on the Events page. Members also receive our In Touch magazine which contains news and details about future events etc. and copies of Third Age Matters - the National U3A magazine as part of their membership.

u3a Luton is about self-help learning through our study groups, in which members share their knowledge and interest in the subject, keeping mind and body active through our walking and activity groups, organising trips to stately homes, gardens, museums and art galleries and other places of interest and meeting other like-minded people.

If you are keen to gain new interests and to keep your mind and body active, u3a Luton may be the "club" to join. New members and visitors are welcome at the monthly meetings for a 'try out' visit - our 'meeters and greeters' are happy to help people coming for the first time.

*The annual membership for 2023- 24 costs £18 per person. An updated Membership Application form is available on the Contact page.

There is no additional charge to join the Walking groups.
