Luton

Welcome to Luton U3A website

Begun in 1996, Luton U3A now has over 800 members. There are over 80 groups covering over 50 topics. The groups meet either weekly, fortnightly or monthly, often in members' homes but also in venues such as local community centres.

Each month there is a meeting which is open to all members. Details of these meetings are on the Events page. Members also receive our In Touch magazine which contains news and details about future events etc.and copies of Third Age Matters - the National U3A magazine as part of their membership.

Luton U3A is about self-help learning through our study groups, in which members share their knowledge and interest in the subject, keeping mind and body active through our walking and activity groups, organising trips to stately homes, gardens, museums and art galleries and other places of interest and meeting other like-minded people.

If you are retired or semi-retired, keen to gain new interests and to keep your mind and body active, Luton U3A may be the "club" to join. New members and visitors are welcome at the monthly meetings for a 'try out' visit - our 'meeters and greeters' are happy to help people coming for the first time.

The annual membership for 2019-20 costs £12.50 per person. A Membership Application form is available on the Contact page.
There is an additional £3.00 charge to join the Walking groups (to cover administrative expenses).
