Meets fortnightly in alternate weeks to the Rambling Group, to do short walks within the local area at an easy pace on fairly flat terrain.

Rambling Group
Leader/contact: Roy Barnes (short walks) / Eileen Rand (long walks)
The Rambling Group offers short walks of 5-6 miles, often starting and finishing at a pub, with a short break part way; and long walks of 8-12 miles with a lunch stop, on alternate Fridays, starting usually within 15 miles of Luton.
All walks set off at 10am.
Ramblers need appropriate footwear and top clothing and the ability to maintain a reasonable walking pace.
The schedule of walks is published in In Touch and at the monthly meeting 3 or 4 times a year.
A membership fee is payable to the Luton U3A treasurer, usually with the annual subscription.
