Membership runs from the 1st January to the 31st December. The annual membership fee is non-refundable. The fee is set at the Annual General Meeting held in June.
There is an attendance fee for each group session attended. This year's fee is shown in the table below. Monthly Meeting attendance Fee is only £1.50
How to join.
Please click and download Lowestoft U3A 2020 Membership Form on the right or you can pick up a membership form from our monthly meetings(see Events) between 10am and 10.30am at the London Road Baptist Church where members will be available to help you
If you are a member of a different U3A, please contact us directly for advice regarding fees.
When you become a member, you are given a membership card with your unique ID number. You will retain this number for the duration of your membership with Lowestoft U3A. Please bring your card to each new activity that you join and when cards are issued at the beginning of the New Year Group Leaders can confirm your details on their register.
Renewing your membership starts from the October Monthly Meeting. Membership forms will be available at the Meeting, through Group Leaders and online from the website (above right). Renewals should be paid by the 31st December 2019. If your group leader agrees you can give them your form and payment, but this must be before 1st December. After this date all renewals should be accompanied by a stamped address envelope so we can send your 2019 membership card back direct to you.

If you want to receive the U3A National Magazine – Third Age Matters – there is an additional charge of £2.50 which is paid in addition to your membership fee.
