Membership Information

Membership runs from the 1st January to the 31st December. The annual membership fee is non-refundable. The fee is set at the Annual General Meeting held in October.

There is an attendance fee for each group session attended. This year's fee is shown in the table below. Meeting attendance Fee is only £2.50

If you are a member of a different U3A, please contact us directly for advice regarding fees.
When you become a member, you are given a membership card with your unique ID number. You will retain this number for the duration of your membership with Lowestoft U3A. Please bring your card to each new activity that you join and when cards are issued at the beginning of the New Year Group Leaders can confirm your details on their register.

Renewals

All existing members have been sent a Lowestoft U3A Membership Renewal Form via their group leader.

Subject to Covid and present contact with your group leaders if they agree you can give them your form and payment. All renewals should be accompanied by a stamped address envelope so we can send your 2024 membership card direct to you.

If you want to receive the U3A National Magazine – Third Age Matters – there is an additional charge of £3.60 which is paid in addition to your membership fee.
