We are a registered charity providing a range of social, educational and recreational facilities for those who do not work full time.
There is no age limit and you do not have to be 50+ to join! No exams to sit and no homework, just enjoyable activities and a lot of laughter.

Please check our latest news sheet using the link to the right of this page.

There is a monthly coffee morning on the first Tuesday of the month at 10:30 in the Ty Gwyn Community Church, where you can meet members, talk about the the up and coming activities, be entertained, learn something new and much more.

Llanelli U3A was established in 1992 and has more than 100 members. The membership fee is £16.00 (£8 for half year) and no charge is made for attending any group activity - other than entrance fees if visiting an attraction or a 50p charge for coffee and biscuits where provided.

Our catchment area covers the town of Llanelli and outlying villages as far north as Ammanford. We are keen to attract new members, in particular younger members willing and able to bring new ideas and activities to broaden the range currently available to members and who wish to develop and share interests and skills, make new friends and have some fun at the same time. If you are not a member, we hope that you will join us. You will find us to be a friendly and welcoming group.

There are a wide range of groups most of which meet on the same day every month. For details go to the groups tab.

There is also a Llanelli U3A Facebook page, just click the link on this page.
