Knitting at Home Group
WHAT DOES THE GROUP DO?
Making a cosy wrap for Premature babies is an easy way to use up odd wool you may have and helps to keep those stiffening fingers a wee bit supple. You do not have to be an ace knitter. It's easy to knit or crochet 4 or 5 of these 3 inch squares while watching TV. It takes around 80 coloured squares sewn together to make a baby wrap and Stella is happy to sew the squares you so kindly produce.
LEVEL OF EXPERTISE:
Using 4mm needles and double knitting yarn.
Stella's pattern: Cast/increase 1 at the start of every row to 20 stitches, then cast off 1 at the start of every row to the end.
Please tell if you can improve on this pattern.
This group does not hold meetings, but please bring your completed squares to the monthly Coffee Morning where Stella will collect them.
Please use up any spare wool and remains.
