Littleborough

Welcome

Littleborough is a small town situated in the foothills of the Southern Pennines.

It has easy road and rail links to Manchester and Leeds, and is surrounded by beautiful countryside.

The " Jewel in the Crown" of Littleborough is Hollingworth Lake, which feeds the Rochdale Canal, which passes through Littleborough centre.

Littleborough u3a was launched in 2014 after an Inaugural meeting held on 22nd September. We now have over 300 members. We are one of 1,050 branches in the UK, and part of a National organisation.

Anyone who is not in full time employment (retired or working only part time) is welcome to join us.
We warmly welcome new members to our friendly group. If you enjoy company and would like plenty of interesting things to do or maybe you have a skill you could share, why not join us and see what we offer? We're sure you won't regret it.

Please print off the 2024 Member Application Form here, or find it under 'Policies' at the top of this page. If you can fill in your details and bring it along to our next monthly meeting with the required subscription, you can hand it to our Membership Secretary, who will issue you with a membership number and a receipt. That's it - it's so easy.

Annual membership of Littleborough u3a is £15 for 2023. The membership year runs from 1st April to 31st March.

Membership includes :
Monthly meeting with invited speaker, (£1 includes tea and biscuits).
Access to all interest groups and outings.
