Our next walk will be on 19 August, meeting at 10am at Car park at High Peak, Blackstone Edge old road. A 3-4 mile circular walk. Back in time for Lunch.

This walking group hopes to cater for all abilities.
We sincerely hope that you will enjoy your walks with us, and that our routes will delight both experienced and novice walkers.
Walks are organised for the 3rd Thursday morning in each month, and start at 10.00 am.
Group members are encouraged to plan and lead future walks.

|Thu Dec 16th||Meet 10am at Calderbrook Church. Route will depend on conditions underfoot. Back in time for lunch.|
We will cover a distance of approximately 4/5 miles taking about 2 hours (depending on how fast we walk). It will take a circular route over relatively easy terrain and mainly defined paths. Suitable for fit beginners, please wear weather-approriate footwear and clothing. You can bring food and drink for a mid walk rest and a mobile phone is recommended. Dogs not permitted on this walk. The meeting point can be reached by public transport (but don't forget your mask) and there are car parking facilities on Calderbrook Road.
Any new walkers should bring emergency telephone numbers for next of kin, and will be asked to confirm they have completed their personal risk assessment.
