MOST LITTLEBOROUGH U3A GROUPS MEETINGS WERE SUSPENDED DUE TO THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC. SOME GROUPS ARE NOW MEETING WHERE SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES AND VENUES PERMIT. PLEASE CHECK WITH GROUP LEADERS FOR CURRENT SITUATION.
We are advised that During the Coronavirus Pandemic it is important for all U3A members planning to participate in an activity or interest group to consider their own personal health circumstances before meeting in person. Click here for the pre-attendance checklist or go to the Policies page.
Each member should carry out a pre-attendance check to ensure they feel safe to join in the activity.
Apologies if this inconveniences members in any way. We hope to get back to our previous arrangements (see below) if normality returns.
At present the Genealogy Group isn’t meeting, I will update this information as soon as the situation changes.
The group meets on the 1st Monday each month at 2pm in Littleborough Library in Hare Hill Park. Bring along any new discoveries you may have made since our last meeting and any problems you may be having with your researches. We have the use of six of the library computers with the family history research sites "Ancestry"and "Find My Past" available to use free of charge. However you do need to be a member of the library.
The group convenor is Alison Gavagan, to send a message click on the 'Bird' at the top of the page.
This group has one vacant place at present so please feel free to contact me if you are interested in joining the group.
Access is via a ramp and there are two disabled parking spaces, however some help may be needed; the disabled parking spaces are on a slope.
