Monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Monday in every month at 2pm in the Coach House.
Admission, which includes tea/coffee and biscuits is £1 for members, £3 for non members.
The meetings feature guest speakers who cover a wide range of interesting topics.
Members can get details of any groups that are up and running.
Please speak to the Group Convenor to ask if there is a vacancy.
Suggestions for new groups are always welcome.
Members can also sign up and pay for any future outings they would like to attend.

Join U3A members at the Whitworth in the Grand Hall for a day of discovery and hands on fun as we unravel the secrets of the fantastic textile and wallpaper collection.
The Whitworth holds one of the largest global collections of textiles and wallpapers dating from the 1st century AD to the present day. U3A members will hear from curators and experts and learn about creative processes, methods and ideas behind some of the work.
There will also be a tour of the Highlights of both the exhibitions and the building itself as well as a hands on have a go session facilitated by an Artist. Welcome refreshments on arrival.
The day will finish with a Panel discussion in the Grand Hall with Textile and Wallpaper curators on the following exhibitions; Four Corners of One Cloth; Textiles from the Islamic World, Bodies of Colour: Breaking with Stereotypes in the Wallpaper Collection and Alice Kettle's new solo exhibition.
This exclusive workshop has been organised by the Third Age Trust for all North West U3A members.

Sunday 4 November at 1pm. 3-Hour canal cruise with 4 course traditional Sunday roast and historical commentary. £32.95p
Departing from Castlefield in central Manchester and then sailing along the Bridgewater Canal to the lock at Pomona. We then transit the lock down onto The Manchester Ship Canal and River Irwell from where we cruise to Salford Quays and view the spectacular scenery and developments that have taken place. These include Media City UK, The Lowry Complex and The Imperial War Museum - North which are connected by the hydraulic foot bridge spanning the width of the Manchester Ship Canal. All this while enjoying a traditional Sunday lunch which is freshly prepared in our galley and served onboard. Boarding starts at 12.30, (the bar is open) we then set sail at 1.00pm from outside The Castlefield Hotel, Liverpool Road, Castlefield, Manchester, M3 4JR and returns three hours later, you may also wish to use the bar services or select a wine from our wine list.

Learn about the history of the pubs, step inside and admire the decor, enjoy the lovely local brews amidst fun stories and history anecdotes.
Meet at the tiled map in Victoria Station. Please note that the tour lasts for over 2 hours and that the staff at each pub visited do expect us all to buy a drink (alcoholic or soft) for the privilege of being taken into the premises. Minimum 16 participants paying £10 each are needed for this tour to go ahead.

running, this U3A outing combines music from the Camerata orchestra and the AMC Gospel Choir, Christmas refreshments available form the bar in the restored Wesleyan chapel, as well as an opportunity to visit the Manchester Christmas markets before or after the concert. The stalls ticket cost of £24 (which includes a discount for seniors) depends on a minimum of 10 participants to secure this group discount price.
