Science Forum

When:2nd Wednesday of each month at 2pm
Venue:Triangle Centre, Liss
Annual fee:None
Meeting fee:£1
Group Leader:Graham Cairns
Email:science.forum1@liphooku3a.org.uk

The Science Forum group encourages and enables u3a members to learn about and discuss popular science topics in a relaxed setting. Meetings start with a member of the group, or occasionally an unpaid speaker, introducing a topic with a short presentation or explanation. Everyone is encouraged to participate in the discussion and ask questions. No prior knowledge of science or of the subject matter is required: all topics are readily accessible!
It is intended that these meetings will be pleasant social occasions, and that you will enjoy getting together and also join us for tea or coffee. We meet on the second Wednesday of each month at the Liss Triangle Centre at 2.00 pm. We ask for a contribution of £1 to cover costs.”
