Joining Group Activities
Eligibility: To join a Group, you need to be a current member of Lewes u3a.
1. How to join a NEW Group
To apply for the majority of the new Group activities (Courses) you need to complete the New Course Registration Form before Sunday 12th September and post it with a cheque to the Assistant Treasurer as explained on the form. The New Course Registration Form has been sent by email to all members with email addresses and printed copies have been sent by post to members without email addresses.
If you wish to join Historic Guided Walks Lewes Town Centre, or the Holiday Group, you should contact the course Convener. For the Lewes Public Lectures for which bookings are made via Eventbrite; links for booking are available on the Events page).
The Assistant Treasurer will deal with applications in strict order of receipt.
If you require confirmation of a place on your chosen course and do not have an email address, please also enclose a sae with your application. You will be notified whether you have a place or if the course is full.
If you have an email address, you will be informed promptly whether you have a place on the course or not. The website entry for the groups concerned will be updated as soon as possible after a group is filled. Members are advised to check the course entry on the Groups page where it will say if the course is full.
2. How to join a CONTINUING Group
Go to Groups page and click on the Group you want. Information on the Group and the name of the tutor/convener appears. By clicking on the tutor/convener’s name a box will appear which will allow you to contact them by email.
