Lunch 1
We are a very friendly group who meet on the first Wednesday of each month. The choice of menu is varied as we have eaten in Greek, Turkish, Italian and, of course, English restaurants.
We try to keep to the restaurants with a set price menu as this is less complicated when it comes to
paying the bill. We also try to keep within the Leigh/ Southend area to make it easier for those
without transport.
With over 30 members, lunches can become quite lively which is another reason for the group’s
popularity. Unfortunately the membership size is also the reason we are not admitting any more
new members for the time being.
