The group has been very busy knitting squares and premature baby clothes over the winter months. The squares have now been joined together to make a very colourful blanket which is being donated to the Rainbow Ward at Wigan Infirmary, along with the premature baby clothes. Not resting on their laurels, the group members are still knitting squares furiously so no doubt there will be another blanket on its way soon!
If you’d like to join us, or maybe just have some wool that you’d like to donate for future blankets or baby clothes, please call in to the Miners between 1pm - 3pm on the 1st or 3rd Tuesday of the month.
