Leigh Belfairs

Floral Art & Design

This group started at the beginning of 2019 and has been very well attended. We meet on the first Tuesday of the month, from 10am - 12 noon, in the small hall at St Aidan's.

At our first meeting the group brought along their own flowers and foliage and I supplied floral foam, tape etc. The group completed a loose line arrangement and every one was very different, depending on the flowers and foliage used. They all looked lovely and I was so pleased with what the group achieved, especially on the first attempt.

Since this group started our ladies have gone on to produce some lovely, professional looking arrangements.
I am in the hall at 9.30

Our next workshop will be on Tuesday 7th December, 10 - 12 noon and we will be completing a Christmas table arrangement
If you could all please arrive a little earlier and stay on a bit afterwards to set up and clear away your own tables.
You will need to bring:

Sharp scissors
Rubbish bag
Small selection of foliage - small leaved and at least 12" long
Small selection of filler foliage - this can be ivy, yew, holly, conifer, any foliage with red berries
Fresh or artificial flowers or a combination of both
Christmas baubles or decorations of your choice
You can include candles
Small container, approx 6" diameter and floral foam - or you can purchase mine for 90p

Any queries, please just give me a call on 01702 529802

Thank you....Christine
