Pub Lunches

It's now 27th November 2020 and very little has changed in the state of the world except that some of us have had family or friends suffer at the hands of the virus. Incredibly those who read science-fiction novels could have predicted this crazy-crazy world years ago; probably not Donald Trump going, but I think I can handle that.
This incredible world of today has made my partner and I demoralised, but has made us both realise and appreciate the value and importance of the friendly contact of those around us.
Fortunately, we were lucky to be offered a dog to "rescue" in March this year and that has been such a benefit to our lives that I feel genuinely sad for those who cannot understand ,nor want the joy that a pet can bring. Everyone is different I know.

Rest assured that organising the Pub Lunches is not a chore but a joy; I appreciate even more now that I cannot do it . As far as I am aware, we still have a good group of members who can't wait to mix again in a lunchtime setting, and I'll be there. Mick 523610 .
