CORONA VIRUS NEWS.

- well I think we all know now what is happening re Coronavirus !

16th August 2020
It has been a long, but gloriously sunny summer (up till now)but we have not been able to go anywhere! Everyone's gardens must be looking fabulous and it's a shame no one else could get to see them - but I'm sure we've all enjoyed our own gardens more than ever. Without a garden to work in or just sit in I think we would have had a tougher time of it, and it makes me realise more than ever how important having our own green space is to our well-being.

Of course the other good thing is not having to dust and clean up so much when no one is allowed in your home!!

I think we can keep what was to be this year's programme for next year now and hope we can get out next summer. So I have left the programme on this page just in case, and in hope, that we'll just have to change the dates!

Hoping you have all kept well throughout this time and that we shall be able to meet again in the not too distant future.

GARDEN GROUP – DATES FOR YOUR DIARIES FOR 2020

Last year a very popular part of our garden programme was the opening of members’ own gardens. If anyone would like to volunteer to show their garden to the other members of the Garden group this year, then please let me know and it can be added in to the proposed trips.
We have set out below some of the local gardens that open for charity under the National Garden Scheme and hope you will find something of interest to you.
As usual, this is not ‘set in stone’ as sometimes the weather plays cruel tricks but I’m sure we will manage to enjoy at least some of them.
