Philosophy 2
Convenor: Judith Hastings
I find that the best way to learn philosophy is to actually do it. So as a group, we work through philosophy books, essays and lectures on the internet. We discuss and debate the ideas and concepts that we come across, and we try to relate what we are discussing to real life.
Since the group began we have covered morality, human nature, truth, knowledge, free will, and political philosophy.
When: 2.00pm, 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month, at the Convenor’s home.
