Digital Photography
Convenor: Richard Taylor
New members do not have to be expert in computing or photography, nor do they need expensive equipment. All they need is a digital camera or smartphone with camera, enthusiasm and some creative thinking.
Members are encouraged to participate by presenting their own pictures or images they have found stimulating. Members agree the topic for the monthly meeting, usually the presentation of images on a theme. From time to time, the group arranges a hands-on photoshoot, a visit to an exhibition, or discussion of particular photographers or approaches to photography.
Members are encouraged to support each other between meetings and therefore need to provide the group with their contact details.
When: 2 pm, 2nd Thursday of the month, currently at Christchurch, Clarendon Park Road. Members share the moderate cost of room hire and take turns to provide milk and biscuits for the refreshment break.
Photographs from last year's "Actions" project are shown on the Previous Projects page (click the link on the right).
