Bookworms

Convenor: Nick Ar“lett

Always read something that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it.

–P.J. O’Rourke

WELCOME!

Bookworms is a novel-reading group that meets once a month with members taking it in turns to choose and introduce a novel. Most choices are modern novels but occasionally we have a classic from a previous century (Jane Austen Sense and Sensibility) and also novels in translation (Haruki Murakami South of the Border, West of the Sun). See below for a full list of novels.

Some, but not all, of our novels we now borrow as sets from the library.

When: 10:30 - 12.00, 1st Wednesday of the month
Where: The Exchange Bar (Opposite Curve), 50 Rutland Street, Cultural Quarter, LE1 1RD.

New members are warmly invited to come along and give it a try but please contact the convenor first. Share books you love, or want to read, and discover books you might otherwise never have tried.
