Bookworms
Convenor: Nick Arlett
“We read to know we're not alone.”
― William Nicholson, Shadowlands
WELCOME!
Bookworms is a novel-reading group that meets once a month with members taking it in turns to choose and introduce a novel. Most choices are modern novels but occasionally we have a classic from a previous century (Jane Austen Sense and Sensibility) and also novels in translation (Haruki Murakami South of the Border, West of the Sun). See below for a full list of novels.
When: 10:30 - 12.00, 1st Wednesday of the month.
Coronavirus Crisis: ALL MEETINGS CANCELLED. The group will continue to discuss the novels by Zoom on the specified dates.
New members welcome now to join us on Zoom. Please contact the convenor first.
Where (post pandemic): Café Roma, 11 Halford Street, Leicester LCE LE1, in the upstairs room.
